Katrien Van Itterbeeck is a technical manager environment at the port of Antwerp. Her main focus lies on how to address the environmental challenges shipping poses on the (local) environment and identify potential win-win concepts in the environmental services to shipping. Previously, she worked as an assistant operations for a bulk shipping company dealing with both the commercial and operation aspects involved in vessels’ exploitation. She holds a masters’ degree in Nautical sciences from the Antwerp Maritime Academy and a masters’ degree in Environmental sciences from the University of Antwerp.” |
